The KU Endowment Building is a 30,000 square foot three story office building located in Kansas City, KS. The building uses a geothermal heat rejection/absorption loop to supply water to water heat pumps that provide both chilled and heated water. The project also utilized an underfloor supply air distribution (UFAD) system to provide conditioned air to a raised access floor throughout the office areas of the building. The project has achieved “Silver” level of certification under United States Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) version 2.2 rating system.
